Fiat presents five bright models at Beijing auto show

Shanghai, April 24 (Gasgoo.com) The world-famous Italian carmaker Fiat has brought five shinning vehicle models Panda Aria, Fiat 500, Linea, Bravo and Grande Punto to the 2008 Beijing international auto show. Along with the vehicle model show, Fiat also presents a big feast for Chinese visitors with its fashionable platform design and unique stage performance.

In addition, Fiat also displays lots of latest technological achievements at this auto show, including Eco-Drive system for reducing CO2 emissions and T-jet engine for satisfying drive comfort and environment protection.

Panda Aria concept car

The Panda Aria concept car, a new model first coming to China, has a green exterior and represents a new low in emissions and consumption.The Panda Aria combines an innovative powertrain and features several eco-friendly technologies. Moreover, CO2 emissions of the Panda Aria concept car have been cut to a record low of 69 g/km.

New Fiat 500

New Fiat 500, another newcomer to China, was called the “probably the best minicab in the world” by some experts. Blessed with the Italian design concept and peerless individual equipment, the New Fiat 500 is the safest and most environmental-friendly car of its kind. It inherited the classic design of the old Fiat 500 except for some change in detail.

The Fiat 500 is powered by a 1.4-liter gasoline engine with the maximum output at 73.5kw, a maximum torque at 131nw and top speed at 182km/h. It features a unique Microsoft-developed Bluetooth-based in-car entertainment system. The new Fiat 500 has met Euro V emissions standard and has been named "European Car of the Year 2008." It is expected to go on sale in China at the beginning of 2009.

Linea

Linea, full of Italian style and sharp Fiat feature, is a streamlined, dynamic and comfortable family car. The most fashionable and enthusiastic design belongs to Fiat Bravo, a fabulous red model equipped with a T-jet engine which uses turbocharging technology. It has gained the five-star rating of NCAP crash test. Grande Punto is a highly competitive, affordable and passionate sporty family sedan supported by the top safe standard, first-class quality and advanced low-displacement eco-friendly engine.
