VW to import 13,000 vehicles to China

Shanghai, May 15 (Gasgoo.com) Volkswagen’s import company will bring in VW EOS and Passat CC to China, in addition to New Beetle, Touareg, Sharan and Phaeton, the CEO of Volkswagen Import Co., Ltd said, adding that VW is expected to sell 13000 imported units this year.

It is reported that in 2007 VW sales in China reached 910,000 units. VW said the company expected to sell over 1 million units in 2008 with sales to increase between 15% and 20%.
