Hu Yong will Succeed An Tiecheng As the General Manager of FAW

Shanghai March 29th, 2017 Gasgoo-An Tiecheng, the General Manager of FAW car, will be transferred to serve as the Deputy General Manager of Dongfeng Group officially in April 5th. After the transfer, the general manager post of FAW will be succeeded by a new candidate. Netcom agency was informed that the General Manager Assistant of FAW Group Hu Yong will take over the existing position and this personnel appointment is expected to recently announced.

The person who will be at the helm of the FAW car is the current FAW Group General Manager Assistant Hu Yong. Similar as An Tiecheng, Hu Yong has also worked on multiple sectors of FAW Group.

After graduating from the Tsinghua University, Hu Yong worked in Automobile Research Institute of FAW Group, later served as secretary of the Communist Youth League. He was responsible for the Yantai Daewoo project and then was sent to Chongqing, serving as Deputy Secretary General of the government and being responsible for the work of " technology coordination, quality and technical supervision, information industry, automobile, motorcycle, and drug supervision". In 2004, he was recalled to Changchun, serving as the Dean of the Ninth Research Institute of Machinery Industry. Since July 2008, he has been the Deputy General Manager of FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd. and General Manager of FAW-Volkswagen Sales Co., Ltd.
