Dongfeng Fengshen New SUV AX4 Is to Launch Tomorrow

Shanghai, September 6, Gasgoo - AX4 is a small SUV of Dongfeng Fengshen, which is going to be launched tomorrow officially and is positioned slightly higher than AX3. The new vehicle adopts the design of double LED headlamps, powered by 1.4T and 1.6L engines, with the pre-sale price of 70,000-110,000 yuan. Online car market learned from the Dongfeng Fengshen dealers that there are 6 configuration alternatives, and that the minimum fuel consumption of 100 km is 5.9L.

Front face uses a new design with double-layer LED headlamp. The upper layer is daytime lights. Both sides of the split-type front grille are covered by fog lights and chrome trim.

Interior layout is black-based to highlight its features. The overall design style is relatively fashionable. The new vehicle is equipped with a new style of three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, large-size multimedia display, and Push Start. Some orange elements is added to make the inner design more lively.

As for its configuration, AX4 will provide 6 models for customers to choose. Standard equipment includes voice reminder system, Arkamys 3D sound effects, and EBD electronic brake. Except the entry-level model, all the other five models are equipped with 3.5-inch color LCD instrumentation, advanced sports leather seats, start and stop system, and cruise control.

Dongfeng Fengshen AX4 provides two engines, 1.4T and 1.6L, with the maximum power of 103kW and 91kW respectively, and peak torque of 196Nm and 153Nm respectively. 1.4T is matched with 6DCT gearbox, with a 6.5L fuel consumption of 100 km; 1.6L is matched with 5MT or 6DCT gearbox, with a 5.9L fuel consumption of 100 km, which is 0.2 L lower than entry SUV Dongfeng Fengshen AX3.
