Total Sales Volume for Tianjin FAW Decreases to 16,000 units from January to August

Shanghai September 14th, 2017 Gasgoo-Tianjin FAW Xiali Auto has six models in Junpai, Wei and Xiali series covering small-size cars, compact cars and small-size SUV markets. Tianjin FAW releases its latest sales volume data on September 12th, showing that the total sales volume reaches 16,002 units from January to August this year with a year-on-year decline of 31.5%. According to plan, Tianjin FAW will launch Junpai A50 and Junpai BEV A70E models in the year.

The single monthly sales volume for Tianjin FAW reaches 2,475 units in August with year-on-year decline of 5.9%. Xiali and Wei series have sales volume of 190 and 331 units respectively, with year-on-year decline of 62.7% and 62.1%. Junpai series have sales volume of 1,954 units, growing 56.6% year-on-year.

Junpai A70E is the BEV model of A70, with alternative energy mark in details. It has a similar front face with Volkswagen Scirocco. Its headlight link with front grilles and the LED daylights blend with bumpers. It equips with PMSM with the maximum power of 80KW. The range could reach 280KM under comprehensive working condition. Besides, the model equips with heat pump air-conditioner system and non-decoupling braking energy recovery system, reducing fuel loss of 50% and increasing range of 10%.

Junpai A50 is designed by IDG Company, with inverted trapezoid 3-spoke air-inlet grille in front face and FAW Logo imbedded in the center. The front bumper blends with fog lights. It has smooth side lines in the body. The model will provide 1.5L naturally-aspirated engines and 1.0T turbo-charged engines. The 1.5L naturally-aspirated engine has the maximum power of 75KW with peak torque of 135NM, equipping with 5-speed AT. Besides, the 1.0T turbo-charged engine has the maximum power of 88KW with peak torque of 170NM, equipping with 6-speed MT or 7DCT.
