Cowin X5 will be Launched today with Pre-sale Price of RMB 80,000

Shanghai September 15th, 2017 Gasgoo-As a young brand under Chery Holding, Cowin Auto has products including cars and SUV products. Previously, Cowin X5 released a compact SUV X5. It’s known that Cowin X5 will be launched today. It provides six models in the first period, with pre-sale price ranging RMB 80,000 to 105,000.

The front face of the new model shows like a flying wing, echoing with the brand name. The LED daylight group blends with fog lights, showing an overall design sense. The air-inlet grilles adopt the honeycomb design, showing a sporting image. Two-waist line design is used in the side body, matched with chrome-plated banners decoration.

The interior design also shows winding lines. The panel uses the traditional mechanical pointer matching with small-size digital display screen. The control board matches with 8-inch display screen. Seats, armrests and inside steering wheel all use red sutures.

Cowin X5 equips with four safety air bags to effectively reduce the impact. TPV materials are used in the interior decoration to avoid the influence of harmful materials. It also equips with the Bosch 9.0 edition EPS to conduct active safety measures. The body uses M.E.C matrix lightweight body structure with impact standard reaching C-NCAP five-star standards.

It equips with 1.5T/2.0L engines. The 1.5T engine has the maximum power of 112KW with peak torque of 205NM. The 2.0L engine has the maximum power of 102KW and peak torque of 182NM. Two engines will also equip with 5-speed MT or CVT. The new model will use front McPherson and multi-link suspension, providing comfortability and controllability at the same time.
