FAW-Mazda sells 13,476 units in January, the fifth consecutive month topping 10,000

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- FAW-Mazda reported that the company delivered a total of 13,476 vehicles in January 2018, which has achieved monthly sales exceeding 10,000 units for 5 consecutive months.

In 2017, the automaker's annual sales jumped 35.7% year on year to 124,237 units, surpassing its annual sales target of 120,000 units. At the beginning of 2018, FAW-Mazda has maintained such strong impetus in sales.

As to models, the January sales of Atenza and CX-4, both launched in the second half of 2017, reached 6,037 units and 7,432 units respectively.

FAW-Mazda plans to introduce MX-5 RF in China as an imported model. At 2017 Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition, Mazda Motor announced the price of the two-door hardtop roadster MX-5 RF (RMB 339,000 to RMB 340,000) and started the presale at the same time. The model is expected to hit China’s market at the 2018 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition in April.
