Changan partners with healthcare group for healthy vehicles

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On May 8th 2020, Changan Automobile inked a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Sinopharm, a certified COVID-19 test kit provider, and China South Industries Group Corporation on “healthy cars”, covering development and service of new healthy models,R&D and certification of special vehicles for medical products delivery as well as relevant partnership.

As early as the start of the COVID-19 outbreak, Changan launched the“PM 0.1 composite antibacterial and anti-virus high-efficiency filter”. The first batch of the EADO PLUS equipped with this type of filter is expected to capture 97.7% of particles 0.3 μm or larger and Changan has begun to upgrade all of its product lines with the new filters since April 1.

A recent live event online staged by this automaker showed through an experiment that the new filter can outscore the PM 2.5 protection system by three layers of filters: anti-allergy filter, high efficiency dust filter and high efficiency activated carbon filter.

In fact, concepts like “healthy cars”, N95 AC and air purification system are in essence all about raw materials and their filterability.
