Notably, it was the first time for the P7 to record monthly deliveries topping 4,000 units. Since mid-2020, 34,588 P7s have been delivered.
“The P7’s Navigation Guided Pilot (NGP) highway solutions are attracting wide customer appeal, reinforcing the Company’s commitment to technology innovation,” said XPeng.

For the first half of the year, the company saw its total deliveries rocket 459% from a year ago to 30,738 units, which have already exceeded the annual deliveries of 2020.

Through the latest OTA upgrade, XPeng pushed the beta version of the VPA (valet parking assist) memory parking feature, the industry's first mass-produced “last mile” parking function barely reliant on the renovation of parking lots, to the general public.
As for new vehicles models, the XPeng G3i, the new mid-phase facelift version of the G3, will be launched in July and is expected for delivery in September. In the fourth quarter of 2021, the Guangzhou-based startup will start delivering its third production model P5, which made its world’s debut in April.
