Hesai partners with Neolix for self-driving vehicle application in “new retail”
Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s advanced LiDAR technology leader, Hesai Technology, has joined hands with Neolix Technologies, an unmanned vehicle startup, in a strategic agreement. Per the agreement, Neolix will purchase Hesai’s LiDAR solutions and put them to use on the company’s driverless vehicles.

The technology innovating partnership signified the start of the mass production process of L4 autonomous driving. Neolix plans to gradually apply its AI-powered “mobile service unit” into the diverse field of logistic and city services. During its expansion of the autonomous driving network both domestically and overseas, Neolix is in dire need of the strong perceptual hardware support that Hesai offers.
Neolix is dedicated to applying its driverless delivery technology to the new retail business model. The company promotes an immediate implementation network through a software and hardware closed-loop technology structure, a standardized mass production system, and a safe, highly efficient autonomous driving operation system.
Neolix’s unmanned vehicles are currently in use in 30 major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen domestically, and nine countries including Germany, Switzerland, Singapore, the UAE, Japan, and Australia. Neolix has deployed nearly 1,000 vehicles, safely traveled over 1.3 million kilometers, and delivered over 1 million orders to more than 300,000 customers. Neolix’s vehicles have operated in hundreds of office parks, CBDs, and campuses,with significant partners like Alibaba, JD, Meituan, Baidu, and HUAWEI, providing customers near at hand mobile retail services.
