JAC Group’s June sales up MoM, YoY

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese auto group, JAC Group, witnessed its monthly sales volume boost up from the previous month and the previous year in June.

In the sixth month of 2022, JAC Group sold 43,108 vehicles, jumping 21.91% month over month while also edging up 4.86% year on year. In the first half of 2022, the group’s cumulative sales volume amounted to 235,210 vehicles, representing a decline of 17.47% over a year earlier.

Specifically, JAC Group sold 26,660 passenger vehicles in June, indicating a 35.27% surge compared to a year ago. In the Jan.-Jun. period, the group sold 125,903 passenger vehicles in total, climbing up 5.42% from 2021. 

With 18,126 vehicles sold, the automaker saw a 55.55% year-over-year hike in its battery-electric passenger vehicle sales in June. In the first six months of 2022, JAC Group’s battery-electric passenger vehicle sales summed up to 80,089 vehicles, shooting up 44.02% from the year-ago period. 

In addition, JAC Group sold 16,448 commercial vehicles in June, indicating a drop of 23.15% compared to the previous year. In the first two quarters of 2022, the group saw an overall downturn of 33.97% from 2021 with a cumulative 109,300 commercial vehicles sold.
