On Sept. 29, Chinese power battery maker CALB Co., Ltd. (“CALB”) penned an agreement for the second phase project of its power and energy storage battery base in Chengdu city, the capital of Sichuan province, resulting in a cumulative annual production capacity of 50GWh for CALB’s Chengdu base.
