JAC Group sees 13.82% YoY increase in Sept. sales

Beijing (Gasgoo)- JAC Group’s September sales volume amounted to 47,675 vehicles, increasing 13.82% year over year and 5.8% from the previous month, according to the company’s report.

In the first nine months of the year, JAC Group’s cumulative sales volume reached 371,712 vehicles, notching down 6.26% over a year ago. 

In compliance with the group’s development strategy that focuses on intelligent and new energy vehicles, JAC Group’s battery-electric passenger vehicle (BEPV) sales amounted to 20,885 vehicles in September, surging 45.03% year on year. Notably, BEPVs accounted for 43.81% of the group’s total sales volume in the past month. 

In the Jan.-Sept. period, JAC Group sold 137,041 BEPVs, representing a 52.11% hike compared to a year ago. 

Aside from the new energy vehicle segment, JAC Group also celebrated blooming performance in the overseas market. In September, the group’s export volume reached 10,921 vehicles, indicating a 14.61% growth from the earlier year. In the first nine months of 2022, JAC Group’s cumulative export volume summed up to 79,844 vehicles, shooting up 40.71% from the same span last year.
