NIO delivers 6,155 vehicles in May 2023

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- In the fifth month of 2023, Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturer NIO Inc. delivered 6,155 vehicles in the fifth month of 2023, which comprised 2,396 SUVs and 3,759 sedans, according to the company's announcement issued on June 1.

The deliveries reached last month were 12.37% fewer than that of the year-ago period, and also dropped 7.55% from the previous month.

As of May 31, 2023, NIO's cumulative deliveries of vehicles have amounted to 333,410 units.

On May 24, 2023, NIO introduced the All-New ES6, an all-round smart electric SUV, in China. Deliveries of this model commenced the following day. The All-New ES6 is built upon NIO Technology 2.0 (NT2.0) and offers an enhanced driving and riding experience. Designed to cater to various user needs for family, business, and leisure journeys, the All-New ES6 represents a significant advancement in NIO's product lineup, said NIO.

Furthermore, NIO has plans to launch another vehicle model based on NT2.0 called the ET5 Touring. This mid-size smart electric tourer is scheduled for delivery to users in June 2023. With the introduction of the ET5 Touring, NIO aims to expand its product portfolio and provide users with a compelling option in the mid-size smart electric vehicle segment.
