SAIC Motor expected to become second largest player in Europe's NEV Market
During SAIC Motor's annual shareholders' meeting held on June 15, President Wang Xiaoqiu revealed that the group is expected to rank second in Europe by annual new energy vehicle (NEV) sales in 2023, just behind Tesla. Wang stated that SAIC Motor's exports of NEVs to Europe reached 20,000 units last month, with 8,000 units sold in the UK alone, demonstrating the local consumers' recognition of SAIC Motor's offerings.
