According to insider sources, the upcoming revised version of the Tesla Model 3 in China will see a battery upgrade, particularly for the base Model 3 RWD variant, which will increase its capacity from 60kWh to 66kWh and adopt CATL's new M3P LFP battery. Additionally, the 66kWh battery pack will not only be used in the updated Model 3 but will also be part of a platform solution, potentially for future revisions of the Model Y in China.
