Chery exports 3,000 vehicles to Turkey by June

Shanghai, July 18 (Gasgoo.com) Chery Auto announced recently the company has entered Turkey market officially and it had exported about 3,000 vehicles to Turkey by the end of June, Nanfang Daily reports today.
 
Chery began its market research in Turkey in 2005 and signed the cooperation agreement with Turkey’s famous family-owned Memerler Group in 2006. Then Chery was approved to export Chery A5 sedans and Tiggo SUVs to Turkey in less than one year. Currently, Chery had exported nearly 3,000 vehicles to Turkey by the end of this June since its initial exports from last December 9, 2007.

Chery said that through strategic cooperation with world-famous automakers such as Fiat and Clysler since 2007, the company has made good preparations for entering European and American markets. Now the company is speeding up its European market expansion starting with the Turkey market.
