Honda Automobile Parts Manufacturing Co. Ltd. have gone into operation
Wholly owned by Honda, the automobile powertrain components production subsidiaries -- Honda Automobile Parts Manufacturing Co. Ltd. started up the production of the newly built factories in South Sea Industrial Park in Foshan City recently.
Honda Automobile Parts Manufacturing Co. Ltd. mainly produces automobile powertrain components such as transmission to supply to the Honda automobile joint venture companies in China, with an annual production capacity of 240,000 sets gearbox, mainly for processing of gearbox, transmission shaft assembly and engine components (crank and connecting rod). The companies would increase control system of gearbox gears imported from Japan and the manufacturing processes of parts in the near future.
In addition, Honda Automobile Parts Manufacturing Co. Ltd. is Honda's fourth overseas automatic transmission production factory; the other three are located in Ohio and Georgia in the United States and Indonesia.
The startup of the factory could further strengthen Honda global automobile gearbox supply system.
