According to information revealed on the corporate database Qichacha, the autonomous driving test system includes software control modules, motion control modules, and multiple motion platforms.
The software control module is able to obtain the information from the primary test scenario and send it to the motion control module. Once the motion control module receives and reviews the information, it will determine the correct test motion platform and target motion platform from the mass, and transmit corresponding parameter information to each confirmed motion platform. The said motion platforms will then execute corresponding actions.
HUAWEI’s system is self-operational without human participation. The system can improve the test efficiency of autonomous vehicles while reducing labor costs.
In addition, HUAWEI’s another intelligent driving technology patent was released, categorized as an “estimation method, device, equipment, and vehicle for determining pedestrians’ intent of crossing through”.
To illustrate, based on the pedestrian’s status information at the primary moment and the deeper intent at the secondary moment, the technology can calculate the pedestrian’s surface layer intent at the primary moment. By combining the information and the calculation, it can come up with a more accurate, timely, and precise prediction result to determine whether the pedestrian is crossing the road at the primary moment.
