Black Sesame Technologies introduces Hanhai-ADSP cutting AD development time

Beijing (Gasgoo)- China’s autonomous driving chip developer Black Sesame Technologies launched the Hanhai-ADSP (Autonomous Driving Solution Platform), further expanding its product portfolio.

Hanhai-ADSP is an intelligent driving middleware platform SDK based on Black Sesame Technologies’ HuaShan series autonomous driving chips. The platform consists of Target (SoC) SDK, X86 (Host) SDK, and Target (MCU) SDK, adaptive to the R&D of various intelligent driving and C-V2X applications. 

Hanhai-ADSP is deeply optimized in accordance with the high computing power and high-performance HuaShan series auto-grade chips, providing comprehensive function integration while maintaining a high-level operating performance. 

For example, the communication component adopts a zero-copy approach when transmitting data between different processes, significantly lowering RAM and system bandwidth occupancy. The component also supports chip-to-chip communication, allowing highly efficient data transmission between users’ existing equipment and Black Sesame Technologies’ HuaShan chips. 

Hanhai’s technology can help developers compress the time of developing and deploying intelligent driving applications, and cut the R&D workload for high-level applications. Moreover, Hanhai-ADSP is specially designed to enable the reutilization of the same product on different vehicles. The platform can help make the different products from different Tier1 suppliers compatible with each other, and reduce costs along the way.
