Dongfeng Sharing, Mogo Auto deepen partnership for smart transportation development

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Dongfeng Motor’s intelligent driving technology arm Dongfeng Sharing signed a strategic cooperation agreement with autonomous driving service provider Mogo Auto on June 16 to promote the intelligent transportation technology development.

Under the agreement, the two sides will share resources and advantages, cooperate deeply in the fields of intelligent transportation, intelligent connection, C-V2X, and autonomous driving, and jointly promote the integration of vehicle, road, and cloud on a national scale.

The agreement signing marked the cooperation between Dongfeng Sharing and Mogo Auto has further deepened since they began collaboration in 2020. 

The two sides will jointly promote the application of intelligent connected vehicles, strengthen the roadside infrastructure support, give full play to the cloud control platform, accelerate the application of HD maps for intelligent connected vehicles, build a data security protection system, etc. 

The duo aims to deploy intelligent transport technologies into various application scenarios, as well as realize the replication and promotion of vehicle road cloud integration in the country.

According to the agreement, the two sides will also cooperate in intelligent connected data service, factory-assembled mass-produced autonomous driving vehicles, etc., to further promote the high-quality and large-scale implementation of intelligent connected vehicles.

Dongfeng Sharing and Mogo Auto's mass-produced self-driving taxis, autonomous driving buses, and autonomous  street sweepers have already been implemented in Mogo Auto’s "vehicle-road-cloud integration" projects in many places, and have achieved large-scale operation in Beijing, Hunan, Yunnan, Sichuan, Hubei, Shandong, etc.
