Gasgoo.com (Shanghai) - According to figures compiled by Gasgoo.com (Chinese), 12 SUVs managed sales of over 5,000 units. The remaining four were Chinese: the Great Wall Haval H-Series, BYD S6, Chery Tiggo and Zotye 5008.
Aside from the Audi Q5 and Highlander, which fit firmly in the luxury-class, the remaining foreign SUVs are all aimed at the mid-class market (roughly between 150,000 and 300,000 yuan). Meanwhile, the four Chinese SUVs were slotted for the entry-level market, though Great Wall maintains hopes for the Haval H6 to enter the mid-class market.
