The sales share of Honda Accord accounted for 27.74% in the high-class sedan market in 2005, taking the leading in this division. While the share of Passat and Buick/Regal remained stable, accounting for 16.34% and 15.69% respectively. After its launch in the previous year, the Nissan Teana quickly grabbed a share of 14.32% at No.4 in the ranking table, followed by Mazda 12.19%, Mondeo 9.89%, Reiz 3.19% (launched in Oct 26, 2005) and Sonota NF 0.6%.

The total number of high-class sedans in use reached 1,481,342, Honda Accord, Passat, and Buick/Regal, accounts a total share of 71.3%, and other high-class models are also on the rise year after year.
