SUVs accounted for 36.0% of all vehicles sold in the country over the course of the month, compared to an overall market share of 29.7% last April. A total of 2.57 million SUVs have been sold over the first four months of the year, representing year-on-year sales growth of 46.2%.

From January to April, own brand SUV sales have totaled 1.48 million units, up 53.1% year-on-year.
