Pony.ai signs MoU with Luxembourg government to advance autonomous driving technology

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Recently, autonomous driving solution provider Pony.ai announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, aimed at fostering the development of autonomous driving vehicles and technologies in Luxembourg.

The memorandum was jointly signed by Pony.ai's co-founder and CEO, James Peng, and Luxembourg's Minister of the Economy, Lex Delles, marking the formal collaboration between Pony.ai and the Luxembourg government in promoting the research, development, and deployment of autonomous driving technology in the region.

As a leader in innovation and technology development, Luxembourg provides Pony.ai with an excellent opportunity to expand its global footprint in autonomous driving and deepen its technological research and application.

With support from Luxembourg's national innovation agency, Luxinnovation, Pony.ai plans to establish a regional R&D center in Luxembourg. This center will focus on exploring and developing cutting-edge technologies in the autonomous driving field and play a crucial role in tailoring customized autonomous driving solutions for the European market and users. Both parties aim to create a solid foundation for autonomous driving development in the region. Pony.ai also engaging in industrial cooperation in Luxembourg and across Europe to gradually achieve this goal.
