China import & export values keep rising in Jan-July

Shanghai, September 9 (Gasgoo.com) The total value of China's auto products imports and exports rise to US$48.818 billion between January and July, about 37% rise from one year earlier, according to the statistics from the General Administration of Customs. 

Of this total, the value of imports grew 37.12% to US$19.27 billion while the value of exports rose 38.39% to 29.548 billion.

Also, July saw the value of total exports and imports reach US$7.714 billion, of which import value of auto products fell 3.59% from June to US$2.936 billion, but up 24.92% over the same period of last year, while export value amounted to US$4.778 billion, an increase of 8.88% month-on-month and 33.01% year-on-year.

Compared with the previous month, auto products imports in July maintained a steady growth while complete vehicle imports marked down greatly. Engine exports also shrunk in July.

Sedan exports in July accelerated from June. The growth of engine and auto parts exports remained virtually unchanged. Motorcycle exports exceed 1 million units for the month.
