Audi A5 convertible to sell in China by 2010
Shanghai, December 11 (Gasgoo.com) Audi has recently released detailed information and images of the new 2010 Audi A5 Cabriolet and the 2010 Audi S5 Cabriolet. The two Audi convertibles will be unveiled at the 2009 Geneva auto show in March, and the Audi A5 Cabriolet will be imported to the Chinese market by 2010.
The 2010 Audi A5 Cabriolet will have two engines for choice: a 2.0 TFSI and a 3.2 FSI V6 engine. The 2.0 TFSI model has a power output of 211 hp and 258 lb-ft torque, and the 3.2 FSI V6 model delivers 265 hp and 243 lb-ft torque. Both models feature a Tiptronic 6 speed automatic transmission and have a top speed of 130 mph.
The 2010 Audi S5 Cabriolet is powered by a 3.0 TFSI supercharged V6 engine that outputs 333 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque and is coupled with a manual or a 7-speed S tronic transmission. The top speed of the 2010 Audi S5 Cabriolet is 155 mph.
The 2010 Audi A5 Cabriolet and the 2010 Audi S5 Cabriolet feature a cloth convertible top and Rear 50/50 split folding seats. Like all open-top Audi's, the A5 uses a classic fabric top which opens in just 15 seconds - and closes in 17 seconds.
The fully automatic open/close system is standard on all Audi A5 Convertibles. Other features include the 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic air conditioning, chorus audio system with integral CD player, and the latest MMI navigation infotainment systems.
The Audi A5/S5 Cabriolet will be premiered at the 2009 Geneva motor show in March and the Audi A5 convertible model is expected to go on sale as imported car in China by 2010.
