VW changes management at Shanghai venture

Shanghai, December 12 (Gasgoo.com) Volkswagen has appointed Jorn Hasenfuss the deputy managing director and commercial executive director of Shanghai Volkswagen, effective January 1, 2009, according to Volkswagen's press release.

Hasenfuss will replace Dieter Seemann, who will become a vice-president for finances at Seat, a wholly owned subsidiary of Volkswagen.

Mr Hasenfuss joined the Volkswagen group in 1987 after graduating in business management and has been working at several positions in Volkswagen. He was most recently Head of the Worldwide Group Procurement for the Interior.

The auto giant company also thanks Dieter Seemann for his contribution to VW China and wishes him a lot of success on his new assignment. Seemann has been Deputy Manager and Executive Sales and Marketing Director at Volkswagen Shanghai since February 2002.
