Ohashi Technica opens Wuhan auto-parts branch

Shanghai, February 20 (Gasgoo.com) Japan's precision components supplier Ohashi Technica Inc. recently announced that its Shanghai subsidiary has established a new branch -- Ohashi Technic Precision Parts (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Wuhan Branch, which will be engaged in the sales of auto parts in central China, said sina.com today.

Ohashi Technica Inc.'s principal business is to supply automobile parts and information and communications-related parts. Its auto parts division deals with making and sales of engines, brakes, electrical installations, drives, controls and chassis. The group has 17 companies and branches worldwide which are scattered in China, the U.S, Britain, Thailand, and Finland. Its annual sales revenue has reached $500 million.

In China, there are Ohashi Technic Precision Parts (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd, Ohashi Technic Precision Parts (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and now the Shanghai company's Wuhan branch. The Ohashi Technic precision parts companies in Guangzhou and Shanghai specialize in the professional manufacture and sales of precision parts for passenger vehicles.

The newly-built Wuhan branch of Ohashi Technic Precision Parts (Shanghai) Company will focus on seeking the company's market growth in central China, where Wuhan is one of China's major auto cities and has Dongfeng Motor Group as the third largest Chinese carmaker. Ohashi Technic has been the precision auto-parts supplier of Dongfeng Honda and Dongfeng Nissan for many years.

Based on Ohashi Technic's ample experience in China's auto parts market, the Wuhan branch is expected to provide reliable products and services to automakers in central China. Currently, the auto parts sold by the Wuhan company are imported from Japan or produced by the Guangzhou facility. Ohashi Technic may seek local auto-parts makers as partners in Wuhan.
