Yantai bus maker plans to build plant in Russia
Shanghai, July 8 (Gasgoo.com) Chinese suburban buses manufacturer Yantai Shuchi Ltd plans to build production facility in the Krasnodar region of Russia, Russian news agency reports Tuesday, citing sources from local industry department.
A group of Chinese executives, led by company general manager Yu Zhongguo, arrived at the region on Monday to meet with local government officials and discuss the main issues regarding the investment.
The report said the Chinese bus maker hopes to produce buses in the Krasnodar region in the near future but did not specify on the planned investment volume or any time line.
Establisjed in 1969, Yantai Shuchi Vehicle Co is situated in Laiyang city of Shandong province. The company has 1000 employees and has a production capacity of 8,000-10,000 buses a year.
