GM may change corporate color to green amid revitalization process

General Motors is reported to exit bankruptcy protection very soon by selling its best assets to a new, leaner company in which the US government will hold a majority stake.

The new GM will be formed with fewer brands, cheaper workforce, smaller dealer network, much less debt, and maybe one more thing, a new corporate color.

A TMR report today said the background color of GM's logo may end up turning from blue to green - a gesture that GM hopes will tell consumers that it is a stronger, more focused organization with a new emphasis on eco-friendly technology.

At this time, GM needs to get new buyers excited about their products. They have to set up a new perception or better a greener image amid the increasing awareness of the global warming threat among consumers.

And then with the waste and greed of its past truly behind it, the New GM may well continue to prosper.
