Beijing Hyundai launches Sonata moInca today

Shanghai, August 7 (Gasgoo.com) Beijing Hyundai Motor Co, a 50-50 joint venture between Beijing Motor Investment Co and Hyundai Motor Company of South Korea, launched Sonata moInca in China Friday.

Sonata moInca, to sell at 114,800 yuan ($16,804) to 139,800 yuan in Chinese market, is the first model developed by Beijing Hyundai. It was developed by the joint venture’s technical centre in Beijing, and its design and most of the R&D tests are completed in China.

Based on the Beijing Hyundai EF Sonata, Sonata moInca measures 4772x1820x1440mm, with a 2700mm wheelbase. It features a 2.0L engine and a four-speed automatic transmission, with a maximum 137 kW power and 180 Nm torque.
