Haima Auto to debut hybrid and electric vehicles in 2011

Shanghai, August 13 (Gasgoo.com) FAW Haima Auto Co plans to launch its own developed hybrid and electric vehicles in China in early 2011, a company source said, citing by a report from Chinese Internet portal NetEase.com.

The source said Haima started to develop its new energy vehicles as of 2005 and now the EV models are being tested in national laboratories. He did not specify on which model the company plans to launch.

Haima Auto released its all-new electric vehicle Me EV at this year's Shanghai auto show, as a follow-up to its Fstar EV released at last year's Beijing auto show,

The Haima Me EV can go 120 miles on a single charge and has a top-speed of either 50 or 75 mph. A 220-volt power supply can recharge the Me in around four hours.
