Mazda's July-Sept China sales may rise 40%

Mazda Motor Corp.'s vehicle sales in China may increase 40 percent during the July-September period from the year before, the Nikkei newspaper said, citing Chief Financial Officer Kiyoshi Ozaki.

The newspaper didn't say how many vehicles Mazda sold in China during the corresponding quarter last year. The company sold about 70,000 vehicles in the country during the April- August period, up 29 percent on the year, the report said.
