Ford CEO: US market good for vehicle sales
The CEO of Ford Motor Co said on Wednesday the U.S. market was looking good and vehicle sales were expected to increase.
"In the long term it's going to grow with the economy," Ford CEO Alan Mullaly told reporters in the Indian capital, where the company showcased its Figo small car, to be launched in India in early 2010.
Mullaly said he estimated vehicle sales for the industry to be between 10.5 million to 11 million in 2009, about 12.5 million in 2010, and 14.5 million in 2011.
