China becomes Hyundai-Kia's largest overseas market
Hyundai Motor released last week its global sales reached 310,396 units in April this year and announced China as the largest overseas market of Hyundai Kia.
The largest automaker in South Korea has sold 83,515 vehicles in China, which does not include the sales of imported Hyundai and Kia cars, an increase of 124 percent year-on-year.
The overseas sales of Hyundai Kia has reached 255,057 units, up 30.1 percent from a year earlier, including 101,444 exported vehicles and 153,613 units produced by overseas plants.
According to Chinese media, the sales of Dongfeng Yueda Kia from January to April doubled compared with the same period of last year.
