Shanghai July 13 (Gasgoo.com) Data from China Association of Automobile Manufactures (CAAM)show that in the first half of this year, the vehicle sales of BYD grew 63.5% year on year to 289,000 units, but BYD confirmed that the company can accomplish this year's sales target of 800,000 units.

The statistics show that BYD's F3, F0, F6, and G3 models are the main driving force for its sales' increase. In Jan-June, F3 continued to lead sales in the mid-sized car market. It achieved the highest monthly sales of 36,000 units and cumulative H1 sales of 154,000 units.

The exquisite mini-car F0 reported a steady growth, selling 15,242 units in April making it the champion of Mini-car sales. In the recently released fuel-efficient subsidy list, an F0 buyer will be entitled to 3,000 yuan ($441) subsidy, which will boost its sales.

The F6 model, which aims at the middle and high-end market, is marching approximately to the target of monthly sales surpassing 10,000 units. In addition, the first high-end mid-sized car G3, with the help of its precise market positioning, sold 30,000 units in H1.

According to the plan, BYD is to launch L3, i6, G6, S6 and M6 models in the second half of this year. The M6 will come to the market soon to meet the demands of government, commercial and family users; L3 will be equipped with 1.8L CVT (Constant-Voltage Transformer); the S6 is the first luxury SUV model; BYD will make i6 its super high-end flagship model, positioning at B-level car market.

The above five models will help BYD to accomplish its annual sales target.
