2012 Mazda 2 Facelift to come at Paris Auto Show 2010

Mazda, the Japanese automaker has unveiled the first official image of the subcompact Mazda2 facelift model, which will be presented in the world premiere in this autumn, at the Paris Motor Show.

The only extra information provided by the Japanese about Mazda 2 Facelift version is that this have two new Euro 5 engines, an improved chassis, was introduced and an automatic transmission option.

Along with the new Mazda2, the Japanese automaker will be appearing at the Paris Auto Show 2010 with a new diesel engine, that will be found under the hood of Mazda3 and Mazda5 models.

Its talking about a MZ-CD engine of 1.6-liter, which developing 116 HP and consumes, an average of 53,4 mi/gal, mounted on the Mazda3 model, and 45.2 mi/gal, mounted on Mazda5 model.

Mazda2 in pre-facelift version received, in 2008, the “World Car of the Year” prize.

Here are the new features of the 2012 Mazda 2 Facelift:

    * new front elements and a restyled interior;
    * improved power-trains that respect the Euro5 rules;
    * improved chassis for a hight level of comfort;
    * automatic transmission.

Paris Motor Show 2010 will opens its doors to media members during September 30 and October 1.

It seems that the Japanese from Mazda wants to built a car that have a Euro 5 engine, small cylinder capacity and low consumption.
