BYD's 2010 auto sales fall short of target
Chinese car maker BYD Co Ltd (1211.HK), backed by U.S. billionaire Warren Buffett, said on Tuesday that it sold a total of 519,806 vehicles in 2010, falling short of a revised target of 600,000 units.
The company cut its full-year sales target in the second half of 2010 by 25 percent from 800,000 because of weak sales and a time lag for parts manufacturing to catch up.
