GAC Gonow's new SUV to come to the market soon
Gasgoo.com (Shanghai March 9) - Ever since Guangzhou Automobile Group's (GAC) joined hands with fellow Chinese manufacturer Gonow Auto last April, a lot of speculation has been given towards their new projects they are planning to undertake. The Beijing Morning Post reported today that their jointly developed G5 SUV (pictured above) is to hit the market soon. Additionally, the joint venture will be working to bring new models to compete in the minivan segment.
When judging the exterior, the Gonow G5 seems to be more fashionable now than compared with its debut at last year's Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition. The G5 will be able to rely on ample interior space, responsive steering control, as well as a reasonable price point to compete in an already crowded domestic market.
In regards to its plans to develop in the minibus market, the joint venture announced that it will begin new research work at its R&D center in bringing a longer version of the GA6380 (pictured below) to the market.
In addition to these projects, the joint venture is also working on a brand new 4WD pick-up truck and urban SUV, in order to expand the brand's overall appeal.
