Dongfeng Peugeot Q1 sales exceed 108000 units

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai April 11) - According to its recently released monthly performance review, Dongfeng Peugeot sold a total of 108,900 vehicles in China in the first three months of the year, Gasgoo.com (Chinese) reported. The figure is over seven percent higher than the joint venture's first quarter sales result. The JV sold 33,897 units and 40,684 units in February and March, equivalent to year-on-year growth of 26.4 percent and 23 percent, respectively.

Sales growth rates of both Peugeot and Citroën vehicles have been strong in the first quarter of the year. According to the review, 54,334 Citroëns and 54,587 Peugeots were sold during the three month period. Sales performance of the latter was 28.75 percent higher than the previous year.
