FAW Toyota sells 350000 vehicles from January to July
Gasgoo.com (Shanghai September 18) - FAW Toyota sold a total of 350,000 vehicles over the first seven months of the year, auto.sina.com.cn reported today. The sales result is 130 percent more than the amount sold from January to July of 2011.
The Corolla (pictured above), RAV4 and Reiz performed very strongly in their respective segments. Seven month sales results for the three vehicles totaled 170,000, 64,000 and 37,000 units, respectively. The new third generation Prius (pictured below), which made its market debut earlier this year, has also garnered much attention in the country.
FAW Toyota made a strong showing at the recently concluded Chengdu International Motor Show, having showcased a total of 11 models, including the new 2012 Crown, new Land Cruiser and 86 sports car, which is expected to make its market debut next year.
