Changan hosted its first fan meeting to stimulate sales

For the first 9 months of 2015, Changan already sold total 751,000 passenger vehicles of its self-owned brands, a 32.1% increase compared against same period last year and 11.4% higher than the average increase of auto industry. Besides, the company always sees great importance in technology innovations that it will invest at least 5% of its sales revenue, which could reach to 30 billion RMB by the “13th five year period”, in research and development every year and train more than 10,000 technical personnel to live up its reputation as the most powerful research and development team among China’s domestic auto brands.
According to some auto industry experts, fan activities were actually quite prevailing in auto industry and many brands, including BYD, have already hosted many similar activities before, but Changan’s promotion was still rather exciting. Huarong Zhu said,Changan hosted this meeting to celebrate the fans’ affection and loyalty to our brand and also to introduce our “customer-centered” core value to the whole world. The company will invest 100,000,000 RMB in customer services this year and further invest 300,000,000 RMB yearly in fan activities, membership managements and customer service upgrades.
Experts believed Changan hosted this fan meeting to further stimulate its sales growth.“Fans will promote the brands they are loyal to and influence people around them spontaneously, which could be very helping for the brand promotion.”
