Foton join hands with Cummins eyeing for high range Commercial vehicle market

Beiqi Foton Motor announced the global launch of Ouman ETX heavy truck mated with Cummins engine at a news conference before the upcoming Shanghai International Auto Show. The media got a chance to witness the Ouman line up of models, including heavy trucks, light trucks and buses all equipped with Cummins engines.

The engines provided by Cummins further promote performance of Foton vehicles and the launch marks the first cooperation between self-brand auto maker and international engine giant. The cooperation not only upgrades Foton's development in commercial vehicle sector, but helps to furnish the internationalization of the brand.

Foton Auto will take advantages its partnership with Cummins to promote its sales and after-sale services network across the world so as to better consolidate the brand image and enhance its competitiveness.

Currently Foton has five manufacturing plants worldwide.
