DaimlerChrylser denies reported talks with BMW over new A-Class chassis
DaimlerChrysler AG's head of research and development Thomas Weber said the automaker is not in talks with BMW AG about using the same chassis as the Bavarian carmaker's Mini model for its new Mercedes-Benz A-Class, denying a report in Auto Bild magazine.
'There have been no talks with BMW, even if I wouldn't say we never could,' Weber told Automotive News Europe.
