Yutong Group H1 sales surge to 5 bln yuan

Shanghai. August 14. (Gasgoo.com) - The sales of Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co., Ltd. reached 10,164 units in the first half year and its sales revenue reached 5 billion yuan, an increase of 39% year on year.

Yutong’s sales were ranked No.1 in China’s commercial vehicle market in the first half year. 

Yutong plans to further tap markets both at home and abroad. The company’s car exports to Cuba and other markets soared since the beginning of this year.

Under the company’s export plan, the Yutong will export 1,348 units to Cuba in 2007 and the figure will surge to 5,348 units during 2007-2009 periods.

Yutong, the biggest commercial vehicle makers along three others, Xiamen King Long Motor Group, King Long Suzhou Group and Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus Group accounted for half of the total sales in the first half year in the commercial vehicle market, according to China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
