Seven face-lifted models to be launched this year

Shanghai. August 23 (Gasgoo.com) - New version of Elysee, Excelle, Elantra, Mondeo, Vios, 307 and Touran will be launched by the end of this year, Chinese media reported today.

Shanghai GM does not announce the release of a new Excelle, however industry experts say a new Excelle will be launched within this year. The new Excelle is a little bigger in body size and share the same power train with the old one.

DPCA (Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile) will revamp the old Elysee. The design of new Elysee adopts some elements of C5, and share the same engine with old Elysee. It is expected this model will be launched by the end of this year.

New 307 will be launched this September, DPCA announced, and the new 307 will be resembled with imported 307.

Following Corolla, FAW Toyota will launch new Vios, which is called Belta in the U.S. market. Meanwhile, the production of old version will be halted. The model will be available by the end of this year.

New Touran was displayed at the Auto Show in Paris last September. The new model is 20mm longer in the body size compared with the old one. This model will be launched by the end of this year.

New Elantra has been launched in the U.S. and South Korean markets, Beijing Hyundai will introduce and produce this model within the year. The new Elantra is enlarged based on the length and height of old one.

Changan Ford's new Mondeo will be launched this September. The new model is modified in exterior and interior decoration and power train, and is configured with advanced technology.
