Shanghai. September 19 (Gasgcoo.com) - Chery Automobile will start to sell cars in Turkey through local sales agent in the country in November, a local newspaper in Turkey reported.

Chery's sales agent in Turkey said it would import 2,000 Chery vehicles in five models in November.

In the first half of 2007, Chery exported a total number of 52,712 vehicles, representing over a half of China's total car exports.

Currently Chery Auto has seven assembly plants in six countries and regions worldwide. The company has made strategic decisions to build more plants overseas to boost exports instead of relying solely on completely-built vehicle delivery.
