Shanghai. October (Gasgoo.com) - Beijing Hyundai sold 20,748 vehicles in September, down 28 percent from the same month a year earlier, and its first nine month sales was 16,6741 vehicles, down 21.0 percent.

Beijing Hyundai, ranked 9th biggest auto seller in Chinese market this September, is biggest loser in Chinese market this year.

Last month, Hyundai Motor announced to cut its sales target by 50,000 to 260,000 this year.

"We have decided to lower our sales target from 310,000 to 260,000 this year," Mr. Lu Zaiwan, General Manager of Beijing Hyundai, told Beijing News. He said the cut was resulted from more intensifing competitions from rival car makers as well as a lack of new models.
