Gasgoo (Shanghai, March 4) — Robin Li, the president and CEO of Baidu in China, made three proposals on the National People's Congress and the Chinese Political Consultative Conference.

Developing autonomous driving vehicles can help to promote energy conservation, improve traffic condition and drive the development of intelligent vehicles industry. Considering that now autonomous driving technology is catching attention from all around the world, Robin proposes that China should accelerate the establishment and improvement of relevant policies and regulations on autonomous driving vehicles so that China can lead in the developing this industry.

As for speeding-up and cost efficiency of telecommunication, Robin suggests to revitalize the available private networks of highway, electric power, education and other fields. The proposal encourages that we should put private network resources into social service in order to increase speed and reduce cost of telecommunication. Robin thinks that promoting cooperation among private telecommunication networks can also help to increase speed and reduce cost of telecommunication.

Given to that punctuality of civil aviation in China has been worse than the global average, Robin suggests that air traffic control commission of the State Council and the central military commission office should take the lead in coordinating with the air force and civil aviation offices at all levels to optimize airspace resource allocation and management system, improve punctuality, and promote the development of general aviation market.
